Overview
The ADM3222A/3232E series is an RS-232 transceiver solution designed for portable or handheld applications such as notebook computers or PDAs. This series features a high-efficiency charge pump power supply requiring only 0.1μF capacitors at 3.3V operating voltage. The charge pump enables true RS-232 performance from a single supply (ranging from +3.3V to +5.0V). The ADM3222A/3232E are 2-driver/2-receiver devices ideally suited for portable or handheld applications such as notebook computers or PDAs.
