The ADP7182 is a CMOS, low dropout (LDO) linear regulator powered by a −2.7 V to −28 V supply, with a maximum output current of −200 mA. This high input voltage LDO is suitable for regulating high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits supplied from −27 V to −1.22 V. The device employs an advanced proprietary architecture to deliver high power supply rejection and low noise, requiring only a single 2.2 μF small ceramic output capacitor to achieve excellent input voltage and load transient response performance. The ADP7182 offers fixed output voltage options and an adjustable output version, allowing the output voltage to be set from −1.22 V to −VIN + VDO via an external feedback resistor divider. The ADP7182 regulator output noise voltage is 18 μV rms, independent of output voltage. The enable logic is compatible with both positive and negative logic levels for maximum flexibility. The ADP7182 is available in 5-lead TSOT and 8-lead LFCSP packages for thin, compact applications.
