ADS7040IRUGR

The ADS7040 is an 8-bit, 1MSPS ADC. The device supports a wide analog input voltage range (1.65V to 3.6V) and incorporates a capacitor-based SAR ADC with an integrated sample-and-hold circuit. The SPI-compatible serial interface is controlled by the CS and SCLK signals. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS, while SCLK is used for conversion and serial data output. This device supports a wide digital supply range (1.65V to 3.6V), enabling direct connection to a variety of host controllers. The ADS7040 complies with the nominal DVDD range (1.65V to 1.95V) per the JESD8-7A standard. The ADS7040 is available in an 8-pin miniature X2QFN package and is rated for an operating temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃. Its compact size and ultra-low power consumption make it well-suited for space-constrained, battery-powered applications.
