Overview

The ADUM1201AR-RL7 digital isolator delivers outstanding performance and reliability, surpassing optocouplers and other digital isolator technologies. It employs a next-generation intelligent voltage division technology based on capacitive dividing principles, enabling precise voltage signal transmission across the isolation barrier without modulation or demodulation. Each transmission channel operates independently, supporting multiple transmission direction configurations, with isolation voltage ratings from 1.5kV rms to 5.0kV rms and signal transmission from DC to 600Mbps. It supports an operating voltage of 3.0V to 5.5V with signal level translation between 3.0V and 5.5V. When the input-side power supply is absent or no input signal is present while the output-side power supply is active, the isolator output defaults to a defined logic level.
