Overview
The ADUM1281BRZ digital isolator employs intelligent voltage division technology, utilizing capacitive divider principles to achieve precise transmission of voltage signals across the isolation barrier without requiring modulation or demodulation. Its transmission channels are fully independent, supporting multiple transmission direction configurations, with isolation voltage ratings from 1.5kV rms to 5.0kV rms and signal transmission rates from DC to 600Mbps. The device operates at 3.0V and supports signal level translation between 3.0V and 5.5V. When the input-side supply is unpowered or no input signal is present while the output-side supply is active, the isolator output defaults to a defined logic level.
