The BQ25883 is a highly integrated 2A boost switch-mode battery charging management and system power path management device, suitable for two-cell (2s) lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries. The BQ25883 features I²C control, OTG, and power path functions.

- Input Current Optimizer (ICO) to maximize input power without overloading the adapter
- Integrated 16-bit ADC for system monitoring (bus voltage and current, battery voltage, charge current, system voltage, NTC and die temperature)
- High integration includes all MOSFETs, current sensing, and loop compensation
- ±0.5% charge voltage regulation
- ±5% charge current regulation
- ±7.5% input current regulation
- Safety: battery temperature detection, thermal regulation, and thermal shutdown in charging and OTG buck modes
