Overview
GB490H is a 3.3V/5V, full-duplex, ±15kV ESD-protected RS-485/RS-422 transceiver IC with one driver and one receiver. The bus features failsafe functionality, ensuring the receiver output remains high when the receiver inputs are open or shorted. The device supports error-free data transmission at 16Mbps, with a receiver input impedance of 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 transceivers on the bus for full-duplex communication. All driver outputs provide ±15kV human body model ESD protection. Available in an 8-pin SO package, operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
