Overview
The HG74HC164 is an 8-bit shift register with two-line input, designed using high-speed CMOS process technology. The register is constructed from master-slave D-type flip-flops, offering high noise immunity and interference rejection. On the rising edge of the clock, the 8-bit binary data shifts one position to the right. It features a clear input for easy output data reset. The shift register also supports multi-stage cascade expansion as needed.
