Overview
The HR8833 provides an integrated dual-channel motor drive solution for toys, printers, and other mechatronic applications. The device contains two H-bridge drivers capable of driving two brushed DC motors, one bipolar stepper motor, or other inductive loads such as solenoids. The power output stage of each H-bridge is constructed with N-channel power MOSFETs, with integrated rectification and current-limiting circuitry. Internal shutdown functions provide overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature protection, along with a fault detection output pin. The HR8833 is available in two package options: ETSSOP16 with exposed pad and QFN16 with exposed pad, both of which effectively improve thermal dissipation. The product is lead-free and compliant with environmental requirements.
