The INA241x is an ultra-precise bidirectional current-sense amplifier that measures the voltage drop across a shunt resistor over a wide common-mode range of -5V to 110V, independent of the supply voltage. The combination of low offset voltage (±10µV maximum), tight gain error (±0.01% maximum), and high DC CMRR (166dB typical) enables high-accuracy current measurement. The INA241x is suited for high-voltage bidirectional measurement in switching systems where high common-mode transient voltages appear at the device inputs. Due to common-mode voltage transitions at the inputs, the enhanced PWM rejection circuitry inside the INA241x ensures minimal signal disturbance at the output. The INA241x operates from a single supply of 2.7V to 20V and draws 2.5mA of supply current. Five gain options are available: 10V/V, 20V/V, 50V/V, 100V/V, and 200V/V. The multiple gain options allow optimization between available shunt resistance values and wide output dynamic range requirements. The INA241x is rated for operation over a temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃.
