LDLN050PUR

The LDLN050 is a 500 mA low-dropout linear regulator designed for a wide range of environments. The device uses an extremely low-resistance PMOS pass element that switches on very quickly. Thanks to its low-noise design, the LDLN050 can be used to power noise-sensitive circuits in industrial applications, such as sensors, MCUs, and wireless ICs. The low quiescent current consumption (48 µA typical) also makes it suitable for battery-powered applications. In the adjustable version, the output voltage can be set to any desired value between 1.25 V and 6 V. Fixed-voltage versions with output voltages between 1.0 V and 4.3 V (in 0.1 V steps) are available upon request. On fixed-voltage versions only, an external capacitor can be connected to the CNR pin to further reduce noise on the regulated output voltage. The LDLN050 is available in a DFN8 (3×3 mm) package.
