Overview
This series of adjustable and fixed voltage regulators is designed to deliver 1A output current and operate with an input-to-output differential as low as 2.3V. The maximum input voltage is +35V. Compared to conventional LDO regulators, this series offers superior output short-circuit protection. Under identical application conditions, these devices can supply higher output current than standard LDO regulators. On-chip trimming achieves a reference voltage accuracy of 2%. Current limiting is also trimmed to minimize stress on the regulator and power supply circuitry under overload conditions. These devices are pin-compatible with other three-terminal SCSI regulators and are available in a low-profile SMT SOT-223 package.
