Overview
The LM350H is an adjustable 3-terminal positive voltage regulator capable of supplying more than 1.5A over an output voltage range of 1.20V to 37V. This regulator is very easy to use, requiring only two external resistors to set the output voltage. It also features internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe-area compensation, making it inherently burnout-proof. The LM350H is suitable for a wide range of applications, including local on-board regulation. The device can also be used to make a programmable output regulator, or by connecting a fixed resistor between the adjust pin and the output, as a precision current regulator. The LM350H series is available in TO220-3, TO252-2, TO263-3, and TO263-2 packages.
