Overview

The LMZ31707 SIMPLE SWITCHER power module is an easy-to-use integrated power solution that combines a 7A DC/DC converter with a power MOSFET, a shielded inductor, and multiple passive components in a flat QFN package. This complete power solution requires only three external components and eliminates the loop compensation and magnetic component selection processes. This device comes in a 10mm×10mm×4.3mm QFN package, which can be easily soldered to the printed circuit board and enables a compact point-of-load design. It can achieve an efficiency of over 95% and excellent power dissipation with a thermal impedance of 13.3°C/W. The LMZ31707 offers the flexibility and feature set of a discrete point-of-load design and is well-suited for powering a wide range of integrated circuits (ICs) and systems. Advanced packaging technology provides a robust and reliable power solution compatible with standard QFN mounting and testing techniques.
