Overview
The LP3869x-ADJ low-dropout CMOS linear regulator features a 2% accurate reference voltage and ultra-low dropout (250mV at 500mA load current with VOUT = 5V), and supports ultra-low ESR ceramic output capacitors for excellent AC performance. This regulator is available in low thermal resistance WSON and SOT-223 packages, enabling full-current operation even at elevated ambient temperatures. The use of a PMOS power transistor eliminates the need for DC base drive current biasing, keeping ground pin current below 100μA regardless of load current, input voltage, or operating temperature.
