The LTP8800-1A is a 150A step-down μModule regulator designed to power microprocessor cores from a 54V power distribution architecture. It features remote configuration and telemetry monitoring of power management parameters via PMBus, an open-standard digital interface protocol based on I²C. The device integrates a programmable digital control system, precision mixed-signal circuitry, EEPROM, power MOSFETs, a planar transformer, inductors, and supporting components. This high level of integration minimizes component count and design time while maximizing flexibility and power density. By employing a resonant switching architecture to eliminate high-voltage switching losses, the LTP8800-1A maintains high efficiency at high conversion ratios. The device is housed in a 22mm×24mm×6.7mm surface-mount open-frame package.
