Overview
The MAX3243 device contains three line drivers and five line receivers, making it ideal for DE-9 DTE interfaces. Pin-to-pin (serial port connection pins, including GND) ±15kV ESD (HBM) protection. Flexible power supply features enable automatic power saving. Special outputs ROUT2B and INVALID are always enabled to detect ring indicator and valid RS-232 inputs.
