Overview

KEMET's PES227 is a surface mount electrolytic capacitor with ultra-high CV value, offering excellent electrical performance and high energy storage capability. The device features a polarized, fully welded design with tinned copper wire leads, with the negative terminal connected to the case. The PES227 winding is encapsulated in a cylindrical aluminum can with a high-purity aluminum cover and high-quality rubber gasket. The low-resistance electrolyte/paper system and fully welded design give this capacitor low ESR characteristics. Due to its mechanical robustness, the PES227 is suitable for mobile equipment and airborne installation, with an operating temperature up to +150°C. KEMET's automotive-grade capacitors meet the stringent AEC-Q200 certification requirements of the Automotive Electronics Council.
