Overview

The R46 series consists of metallized polypropylene film capacitors housed in a UL 94V-0 rated material case and encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin. Not recommended for new designs.

Applications

Suitable for EMI suppression in across-the-line applications requiring X2 safety class worldwide. For use where capacitor failure does not present an electric shock hazard. Not suitable for "in series with the mains" type applications.
