The R52 series is constructed with metallized polypropylene film, housed in a case made of UL 94 V-0 rated material, and encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin. This series is designed for harsh environmental conditions and meets the stringent AEC-Q200 certification requirements of the Automotive Electronics Council.

Applications

• EMI suppression in across-the-line applications requiring X2 safety class worldwide. Suitable for applications where capacitor failure does not present an electric shock hazard. Typical applications include series connection to mains, capacitive power supplies, and electricity meters, with particular suitability for automotive applications in harsh environmental conditions.
