Overview
SFH620A (DIP) and SFH6206 (SMD) feature high current transfer ratio, low coupling capacitance, and high isolation voltage. These couplers incorporate a GaAs infrared diode emitter optically coupled to a silicon planar phototransistor detector, housed in a plastic DIP-4 or SMD package. These coupling devices are used for signal transmission between two electrically isolated circuits. The couplers can be stacked end-to-end with a pin pitch of 2.54 mm. Option 6 provides creepage distance and clearance greater than 8 mm. This version complies with IEC 60950 (DIN VDE 0805) for reinforced insulation at working voltages up to 400 VRMS or DC.
