Overview
The SMP100MC is a series of miniature capacitive transient surge suppressors designed specifically for the protection of high-bit-rate communication equipment. Its miniature capacitance can avoid signal distortion and is compatible with digital transmission line cards (such as ADSL, VDSL, ISDN, etc.). The SMP100MC series has been tested and confirmed to be compatible with the Cooper Bussmann telecommunications circuit protector TCP 1.25 A.
Applications
- Any sensitive equipment requiring protection against lightning strikes and power crossing
- Terminals (phone, fax, modem...) and central office equipment
- ADSL2'+ and low end VDSL
