The SN54LVCH245A octal bus transceiver is designed for 2.7V to 3.6V VCC operation, and the SN74LVCH245A octal bus transceiver is designed for 1.65V to 3.6V VCC operation. Inputs can be driven by 3.3V or 5V devices. This feature allows these devices to be used as translators in mixed 3.3V/5V system environments.
