Overview

MC1488, SN55188, and SN75188 are monolithic quadruple line drivers designed for interfaces between data terminal equipment and data communications equipment in compliance with ANSI TIA/EIA-232-E, with a diode in series with each power supply voltage terminal as shown in the typical application. The SN55188 operates over a temperature range of -55℃ to 125℃. The MC1488 and SN75188 operate over a temperature range of 0℃ to 70℃.
