KEMET T498 is a high-temperature product that delivers optimal performance characteristics in applications with operating temperatures up to 150°C. Advanced materials and testing enable the T498 AUTO to achieve a reliability level of 0.5%/1000 hours at rated voltage and temperature. This series carries a Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) of 1 per J STD 020, meaning unlimited floor life at ≤30°C/85% relative humidity. The T498 is available in five standard EIA case sizes with standard terminations that are RoHS compliant.

Applications

Typical applications include decoupling and filtering in industrial and automotive end applications such as DC/DC converters, portable electronics, telecommunications, and control units operating at temperatures up to 150°C.
