This CAN transceiver family complies with the ISO 11898-2 (2016) high-speed CAN physical layer standard. All devices are designed for CAN FD networks up to 2 Mbps. Devices with a "G" suffix in the part number are designed for data rates up to 5 Mbps, and versions with a "V" suffix feature a secondary power supply input that enables I/O level translation for input pin thresholds and RXD output levels. The family offers a low-power standby mode with remote wake-up request capability. In addition, all devices integrate multiple protection features to enhance device and network robustness. Pin 5 functionality varies by device: devices without the "V" suffix have pin 5 as NC, while devices with the "V" suffix have pin 5 as VIO for I/O level translation. For devices without the "V" suffix, the RXD logic output is driven by VCC; for devices with the "V" suffix, the RXD logic output is driven by VIO.
