TLIN1021DRQ1

The TLIN1021-Q1 is a Local Interconnect Network (LIN) physical layer transceiver. LIN is a low-speed Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) communication protocol that supports automotive in-vehicle networks. The TLIN1021-Q1 transmitter supports a data rate of up to 20 kbps, and the receiver supports a data rate of up to 100 kbps to enable faster offline programming. The TLIN1021-Q1 controls the state of the LIN bus through the TXD pin and reports the bus state through its open-drain RXD output pin. The device features a current-limiting waveform driver to reduce Electromagnetic Emission (EME). The TLIN1021-Q1 is designed to support 12V applications, has a wide input operating voltage range, and also supports a low-power sleep mode. The device supports wake-up from the low-power mode through the LIN, WAKE, or EN pins. The device can selectively enable various power supplies that may exist on the node through the TLIN1021-Q1 INH output pin, thereby reducing battery current consumption at the entire system level. The TLIN1021-Q1 integrates a resistor for LIN responder applications, ESD protection, and fault protection, which can reduce the number of external components in the application. In the event of ground drift or power supply voltage disconnection, the device can prevent feedback current from flowing through the LIN to the power input. The TLIN1021-Q1 also includes undervoltage protection, overheat shutdown protection, and ground fault protection functions. Once a fault occurs, the transmitter will immediately shut down and remain off until the fault is cleared.
