The TPS3899 is a nano-power precision voltage monitor featuring a threshold accuracy of ±0.5%, programmable sensing, and reset delay time, and it comes in a space-saving 6-pin 1.5mm×1.5mm WSON package. The TPS3899 is a feature-rich voltage monitor that offers the smallest total solution size among similar products. When monitoring voltage rails or button signals, the built-in hysteresis and programmable delay prevent false reset signals. Through separate VDD and SENSE pins, the redundancy required for high-reliability systems can be achieved. The SENSE is decoupled from VDD, enabling the monitoring of rail voltages other than VDD. The high-impedance input of the SENSE pin supports the use of optional external resistors. Both CTS and CTR provide the ability to adjust the delay of the rising and falling edges of the RESET signal. CTS also acts as a de-bouncer by ignoring voltage electronic pulse interference on the monitored voltage rail; and it serves as a "manual reset" for forcing a system reset. The precision performance, excellent features, and compact form factor of the TPS3899 make it an ideal solution for various industrial and battery-powered applications, such as factory/building automation, motor drives, and consumer products. The device is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C (TA).
