TPS7A66-Q1 and TPS7A69-Q1 are low-dropout linear regulators designed for circuits operating at input voltages up to 40V. These devices incorporate integrated short-circuit and overcurrent protection. At power-up, the devices perform a reset delay to indicate that the output voltage is stable and in regulation. Users can set this delay using an external capacitor. The low-voltage tracking feature allows the use of smaller input capacitors and potentially eliminates the need for a boost converter under cold-start conditions.
