Overview
The TPS7A7200 low-dropout (LDO) regulator is designed for applications requiring ultra-low dropout (180mV at 2A), with input voltages ranging from 1.5V to 6.5V. The TPS7A7200 offers an innovative, user-configurable output voltage setting range of 0.9V to 3.5V, eliminating the need for external resistors and removing any associated errors. The TPS7A7200 features an ultrafast load transient response, stable operation with ceramic output capacitors, and better than 2% accuracy over line, load, and temperature. A soft-start pin allows applications to reduce inrush current to the load. In addition, an open-drain power-good signal enables power rail sequencing. The TPS77200 is offered in a 5mm×5mm, 20-pin QFN package.
