The TPS84250 is a simple, easy-to-use integrated power solution that combines a 2.5A DC/DC converter with an inductor and passive components in a low-profile QFN package. This complete power solution requires only five external components, eliminating the need for loop compensation and magnetic component selection. The compact 9mm×11mm×2.8mm QFN package can be easily soldered onto a PCB, enabling a point-of-load design with greater than 90% efficiency and excellent power dissipation capability. The TPS84250 offers the flexibility and feature set of a discrete point-of-load design, making it an ideal choice for powering a wide range of ICs and systems.
