TPS84610RKGR

The TPS84610RKG is an easy-to-use integrated power solution that combines a 6A DC/DC converter with power MOSFETs, an inductor, and passive components in a compact QFN package. This complete power solution requires only 3 external components, eliminating the need for loop compensation and magnetic component selection. The 9×11×2.8mm BQFN package solders easily onto PCBs and enables compact point-of-load designs with efficiency exceeding 90%, featuring excellent power dissipation with a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of only 12°C/W. At an ambient temperature of 85°C with no airflow, the device delivers a full rated output current of 6A. The TPS84610 offers the flexibility and feature set of discrete point-of-load designs, making it an ideal choice for powering high-performance DSPs and FPGAs. Advanced packaging technology delivers a robust and reliable power solution compatible with standard QFN assembly and test processes.
