The TPSM842xx power module is an easy-to-use integrated power solution that integrates a 1.5A DC/DC converter with power MOSFETs, inductors, and passive components in a 3-pin through-hole package. This complete power solution only requires the addition of input and output capacitors, eliminating the need for loop compensation and magnetic component selection during the design process. With the standard TO-220 pins, it can be replaced with a significantly improved linear regulator in this industry-standard package. The TPSM842xx devices offer higher efficiency without the need for a heat sink.
