Overview
Advanced ultra-low VF soft-switching ultrafast rectifier, optimized for discontinuous (critical) mode (DCM) PFC. Minimized conduction losses, optimized stored charge, and low recovery current minimize switching losses and reduce excessive dissipation in switching elements and snubbers. The device can also be used as a freewheeling diode in power supplies and other power switching applications.
