The VS - EPU60... series are advanced ultrafast recovery rectifiers with optimized performance in terms of forward voltage drop and ultrafast recovery time. Planar construction and platinum doping lifetime control ensure optimum overall performance, ruggedness, and reliability. These devices are suitable for use in switch mode power supplies, welding, UPS, output rectification stages of DC/DC converters, and as freewheeling diodes in low voltage inverters and chopper motor drives. Their extremely optimized stored charge and low recovery current minimize switching losses and reduce excessive dissipation in switching elements and snubbers.
