Applications
- Silicon transient voltage suppressors for applications where large voltage transients may permanently damage voltage-sensitive components.
- TVS diodes for applications involving induced lightning strikes on rural or remote transmission lines that pose hazards to electronic circuits (Ref: R.E.A. Specification P.E. 60).
- Protection for ICs, MOS devices, hybrid circuits, and other voltage-sensitive semiconductors and components.
- TVS diodes can also be connected in series or parallel to increase peak power ratings.
