The 5KP series is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment against voltage transients caused by lightning strikes and other transient voltage events.

- Glass passivated chip junction in P600 package

- Typical failure mode is short circuit due to overvoltage or overcurrent
- Whisker testing per Table 4a and 4c of JEDEC JESD201A
