The 5KP series is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment against voltage transients caused by lightning strikes and other transient voltage events.

- Glass passivated chip junction in P600 package
- Fast response time: typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to minimum breakdown voltage
- Typical failure mode is short circuit under overvoltage or overcurrent conditions
- Whisker testing per Table 4a and 4c of JEDEC JESD201A, passes Level 1 and Level 2

- Typical reverse leakage current less than 2μA when minimum breakdown voltage >12V
