The 5KP series is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients caused by lightning strikes and other transient voltage events.

- Glass passivated chip junction in P600 package

- Typical failure mode is short circuit under overvoltage or overcurrent conditions
- Whisker test per Table 4a and 4c of JEDEC JESD201A, passing Level 1 and Level 2
