ADS8867IDRCT

The ADS8867 is a 16-bit, 100 kSPS, true differential input analog-to-digital converter (ADC). This device operates with an external reference of 2.5 V to 5 V, thus providing a wide signal range without additional signal conditioning. This reference voltage setting is independent of and can exceed the analog power supply voltage (AVDD). This device provides an SPI-compatible serial port, which also supports daisy-chain operation for cascading multiple devices. This device supports unipolar, true differential analog input signals with a differential input swing from -VREF to +VREF. This true differential analog input structure allows any common-mode voltage value in the range of 0 V to +VREF (when both inputs are within the operating input range of -0.1 V to VREF +0.1 V). The device operation is optimized for extremely low-power operation. The power consumption is directly proportional to the speed. This feature makes the ADS8867 well-suited for low-speed applications.
