The ALM2402-Q1 is a dual high-voltage, high-current operational amplifier with protection features, which is well-suited for driving capacitive loads with low impedance and/or high equivalent series resistance (ESR). The ALM2402-Q1 operates from a single or split power supply in the range of 5.0V to 16V and can provide a DC output of up to 400mA. Each operational amplifier has an over-temperature flag and over-temperature shutdown function. The device also provides independent power supply pins for each output stage, allowing users to apply a lower voltage to the output to limit Voh, thereby limiting on-chip power dissipation. The ALM2402 is available in a 12-pin leadless DRR package and a 14-pin leaded heat-thinning thin small outline package (HTSSOP) (preview). Both packages include thermal pads to aid in heat dissipation. Moreover, both packages have very low thermal resistance, enabling optimal current drive capability with minimal chip temperature rise, allowing customers to obtain high drive currents even under harsh temperature conditions.
