DK035G

DK035G is a current-mode controlled quasi-resonant flyback AC-DC power management switch IC. It integrates a 700V/600mΩ GaN HEMT, control circuit, and gate driver on-chip, significantly reducing the external component count and overall system cost. DK035G operates in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM): when the core energy is fully released and the primary inductance resonates with the GaN HEMT junction capacitance to its valley, the primary power switch turns on, reducing turn-on switching loss and improving efficiency across the full power range. DK035G monitors the drain-to-source voltage (VDS) of the power switch and triggers turn-on at the VDS valley, thereby minimizing switching loss and improving EMI performance. DK035G greatly simplifies the design and manufacturing of flyback AC-DC converters, particularly for applications demanding high conversion efficiency and high power density. DK035G incorporates comprehensive protection features: output OVP, VCC over/under-voltage protection, OTP, open-loop protection, and output OCP.
