The INA293 is an ultra-precise current-sensing amplifier that can measure the voltage drop across a shunt resistor within a wide common-mode range from –4V to 110V. The negative common-mode voltage allows the device to operate at voltages below the ground voltage, enabling accurate measurement of recirculating current in half-bridge applications. The combination of low offset voltage, small gain error, and high DC CMRR enables high-precision current measurement. The INA293 is suitable not only for DC current measurement but also for high-speed applications (such as fast overcurrent protection), which feature a high bandwidth of 1.3MHz and an AC CMRR of 85dB (at 50kHz). The INA293 is powered by a single supply voltage from 2.7V to 20V, with a supply current of 1.5mA. The INA293 offers five gain options: 20V/V, 50V/V, 100V/V, 200V/V, and 500V/V. These gain options can meet the requirements of wide dynamic range current-sensing applications. The INA293 is rated for operation over a temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and is available in a space-saving SOT-23 package with two pin configurations.
