The INA819 is a high-precision instrumentation amplifier that offers low power consumption and can operate over a very wide single-supply or dual-supply voltage range. Any gain can be set from 1 to 10,000 using a single external resistor. Thanks to the use of super-beta input transistors, which provide extremely low input offset voltage, offset voltage drift, input bias current, input voltage, and current noise, the device offers excellent accuracy. Additional circuitry can provide up to ±60V overvoltage protection for the inputs. The INA819 is optimized to provide a high common-mode rejection ratio. When G = 1, the common-mode rejection ratio exceeds 90 dB over the entire input common-mode range. By design, this device operates at low voltages and is powered by a single 4.5V supply and dual supplies up to ±18V. The INA819 is available in 8-pin SOIC, VSSOP, and WSON packages and is specified for operation over the temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.
