Overview

The JRC7660 is a monolithic DC/DC voltage converter IC fabricated using CMOS technology. It supports voltage inversion, voltage doubling, voltage division, and multiple voltage outputs, operating stably over a supply range of 1.5V to 5V without requiring any external diodes across the entire operating temperature range. The device delivers 10mA of output current at a voltage drop of 0.5V per stage. By utilizing the BOOST pin, the internal oscillator frequency can be pushed above the audio band, effectively reducing output ripple and lowering the required external capacitance values. The JRC7660 features low quiescent current and high conversion efficiency, integrating an oscillator control circuit and four power MOSFET switches on-chip. Typical applications include negative voltage generation, voltage doubling, and 1/2 division of the input voltage.
