The KP118X series are highly integrated LED power switches. The chips employ a primary-side feedback quasi-resonant operating mode combined with active power factor correction control technology, delivering high power factor, low harmonic distortion, and high efficiency. The KP118X integrates demagnetization signal detection technology internally, along with a 650V high-voltage MOSFET and power supply circuit, eliminating the need for auxiliary windings for demagnetization detection and power supply. This simplifies system design and reduces production costs. The chip integrates high-precision inductor current sampling technology and a high-precision output current reference voltage, as well as line voltage compensation technology, providing excellent constant-current output characteristics. The KP118X incorporates comprehensive protection features to ensure safe and reliable system operation, including: VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), and LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection.
