Overview

KP2126 is a high-performance primary-side controller that delivers high-accuracy constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) output performance, making it particularly suitable for low-power offline charger applications. In CV mode, KP2126 employs a multi-mode operation combining amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM) control, improving system efficiency and reliability. In CC mode, the device adopts FM control with integrated line voltage and load voltage CC compensation. KP2126 operates without audible noise while ensuring excellent dynamic performance. The integrated line-drop compensation enables superior CV output characteristics. KP2126 integrates multiple protection features: VDD under-voltage lockout (UVLO), VDD over-voltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle over-current protection (OCP), short-circuit protection (SCP), and VDD clamping.
