LM21215MHX/NOPB

LM21215 is a monolithic synchronous point-of-load buck regulator capable of delivering up to 15A continuous output current while generating output voltages as low as 0.6V with excellent efficiency. The device is optimized for operation over an input voltage range of 2.95V to 5.5V, making it suitable for a wide variety of low-voltage systems. The voltage-mode control loop provides high noise immunity, low duty cycle capability, and can be compensated to stability with any type of output capacitor, offering maximum flexibility and ease of use. The LM21215 features internal OVP and resistor-programmable OCP to enhance system reliability. A precision enable pin and integrated UVLO enable tight control and sequencing of device turn-on. Start-up inrush current is limited by an internal fixed and externally adjustable soft-start circuit. Fault detection and power sequencing are supported through an integrated power-good circuit. The LM21215 is designed to perform well in multi-rail power supply architectures. The SS/TRK pin can be used to configure the device's output voltage to track an external voltage rail. If the output is pre-biased at start-up, no current is sunk, allowing the output voltage to rise smoothly above the pre-bias voltage. The regulator is available in a 20-pin HTSSOP package with an exposed pad that can be soldered to the PCB, eliminating the need for a large heatsink.
