LM2576S-ADJ

The LM2576 series are easy-to-use fixed and adjustable step-down switching mode voltage regulators. These devices offer fixed output voltage versions (3.3V, 5V, 12V) as well as an adjustable output version. Both versions are capable of driving a 2A load with excellent line and load regulation. These regulators require a minimum number of external components, are simple to use, and include internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator. Output voltage is guaranteed to ±3% tolerance under specified input voltage and output load conditions. Oscillator frequency is guaranteed to ±15% tolerance. An external shutdown function is included, with a typical standby current of 8μA. Self-protection features include two-stage frequency-reducing current limiting for the output switch, and thermal shutdown to provide full protection under fault conditions.
