The LM2775-Q1 is a regulated switched-capacitor voltage doubler with low-noise output voltage. The LM2775-Q1 can deliver up to 200mA of output current over an input voltage range of 3.1V to 5.5V, and up to 125mA of output current at input voltages as low as 2.7V. By boosting a regulated 3.3V system rail, the LM2775-Q1 provides a cost-optimized 5V, 200mA supply for CAN transceivers and other loads. The device is suitable for post-boost applications in automotive systems that do not use wide input voltage pre-boosting or cold-start operation. At low output currents, the LM2775-Q1 reduces its quiescent current by operating in pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode. PFM mode can be enabled or disabled by driving the PFM pin high or low. In addition, when the device is shut down, the user can choose to pull the output voltage to GND or maintain it in a high-impedance state by setting the OUTDIS pin high or low. The LM2775-Q1 uses TI's 8-pin WSON package, which offers excellent thermal characteristics to prevent device overheating under virtually any rated operating condition.
